VPS Venture
I've decided to start up a VPS Hosting company with very strong and defined core values.
To those that think they may have the skill-set or knowledge to be a partner in this, please post here.
This will not be a half-assed fly-by-night host and monetary investment from all partners will most likely be required.

Do you have the necessary knowledge to manage multiple VPS nodes and commit your time to dealing with node failures at 3 AM? There is a lot more than just money and core values.

Would I be posting this proposition if I did not have the necessary knowledge to manage multiple VPS nodes? No I wouldn't.
I've worked in the industry in a smaller niche for 2 years now.

To be fair, people startup things without knowing what they are doing on a regular basis; especially in the hosting industry.
So it was a fair question IMO.
At any rate, I'm glad to hear "knowing what you're doing" is a core value of your venture. I'd wish you the best of luck, but I don't like superstitious nonsense. So hard work and success!

As an aside, I am impressed with your site designs, guys.

Instead of all the negativity lets post positive information like :
1)Node hardware requirements(ram,cpu,s,hd size,raid,nic
2)Software for host (os)
3)Host side management panels/Client side VPS panel
4)Number of VE containers
5)Size of each container (ram,hd space)
6)Allocated bandwidth for each container
7)Data center to house the node and bandwith
8)Support
9)Cost
10) PROFIT

If only it was that simple. I thought it would be, and intended to open about two weeks ago... There is a lot more to it than just a simple list. I spend at least two hours a day going over details of the business, generally four or five. It's not simple. Even if you could manage all the nodes by yourself, there is still the business aspect behind it.
