    The redemption period is a Domain Registry period of up to 30 days that occurs when a domain name is deleted after having expired unrenewed. Look at http://www.icann.org/en/registrars/r...al-14feb02.htm for more info.

    redemption lasts 30 days where the registrant can restore the domain. After 30 days it gets a pending delete status for 5 days and then it willbe released for registration again.
