Any good, cheap, unmetered VPSs?

I have an update coming for one of my apps on the App Store with over 500 images. I plan on more than 2,000 people downloading the update with these images and viewing at least 20 images each (3-5MB of bandwidth average per person).

With that in mind, I will be using over 1TB of bandwidth. Easily.

Do you think my current Hosting, HostGator shared plan, will allow me to use this much bandwidth? Of course they offer "Unlimited" bandwidth, but is unlimited over 1TB of bandwidth?

Anyways, does anybody know of a cheap VPS provider which provides TRUE unmetered connections? I believe 10mbit will work...but I'm not sure. I just need to be able to use a LOT of bandwidth.

Here is what I'm looking for:
256MB of RAM is perfectly fine. All I need is Apache and PHP running.
20GB of Hard drive will work. After CentOS, Apache, PHP, and the images, only a max of 5GB of space should be USED.
An unmetered connection (or a LOT of bandwidth) on a 10mbit (may work) or 100mbit connection
CentOS operating system, of course.
And, most of all: A reliable provider, with great uptime. No more than 45 minutes of downtime per month. I will RELAY on this server for my Apps.

Price: Max $20/month...? I'm not sure what to offer.

Thank you

???

If you want something even close to resembling premium connectivity/SLA/etc .. even tripling that wouldn't really cut it

Actually I think $20/mo is more or less reasonable for this request. Only needing 256MB of RAM and 20GB storage is what makes that budget possible.

Though, I have no direct experience with anything 'Unmetered', so I can't personally make a recommendation other than suggesting taking a look at the offers forum. Though I am certain you'll find what you need within your budget.

One company that came right to mind was fdc servers. They offer 10/mb unmetered.

You are not going to find a reliable provider at this price beacuse of the unmetered line.

Actually Los Angeles-based Mzima Networks was acquired by London's PacketExchange

Quote:
PACKETEXCHANGE ACQUIRES MZIMA’S NETWORK ASSETS AS THE COMPANIES MERGE THEIR OPERATIONS

Los Angeles, CA - January 18, 2010 - PacketExchange, the next generation network service provider with coverage in Europe, the United States and Asia, today announces it will acquire Mzima Networks, a premier high-performance network service provider, and will merge both companies‟ customer base and operations.

...

PacketExchange, a London-based company, has an extensive global network footprint that leverages its 10 Gigabit backbone to provide global Ethernet private line services, MPLS and VPLS networking and peering services. Mzima owns and manages a private, optical long-haul network serving as the foundation for an Ethernet-over-PBB-TE mesh architecture and its highly resilient optical IP transit network. The combined company now offers hundreds of network points of presence and peering partners to over 100 countries globally.
