Urpad.net Now Acquired By FTNhosting.net!

First we would like to introduce ourselves to allow you to know who you are going to be dealing with from this point on. FTNHosting.net is a stable and steadily growing company which has been in business for over 3 years and counting. In our eyes each and every client is viewed as an asset and we know that we will always continue to provide every client with a service and not a product. We are committed to providing the URPad.net clients the support and quality of service that all of our clients are accustomed to. We will work closely with you and your needs and if you ever need anything we are always available.

What changes will be expected with this change for me, the customer?

FTNHosting.net acquiring URPad.net will have a lot of great changes for you, the customer.

We are committed to providing every customer the quality and support they deserve. This is why we are guaranteeing a 30-60 minute response time on all technical support related inquiries sent in through the ticketing system. You will no longer have to wait for responses for support. We are also going to be accepting more payment gateways, implementing live sales chat, and much more over the coming weeks.

We want our clients to know that we will do our best to keep this transition as smooth as possible. No IP addresses will be changed and no data will be lost, you will notice nothing but better management, better service and support. We know that you have options and choices however we can assure you we have nothing but the best intentions for URPad.net and we see a very bright future.

We really appreciate the opportunity to be working with you and we look forward to providing you the level of service and support you deserve. We will also be launching a new website design for URPad.net that will fit the brand much better than the current design.

Accounting Changes:

First we would like to state that there will NOT be any price changes for your services. We hate price "hikes" just as much as you do and we will never increase your service pricing with URPad.net.

FTNHosting.net will not be accepting Google Checkout anymore as a payment method, which is a method that URPad.net has offered in the past. Fortunately we will be offering an alternative called 2Checkout, 2Checkout allows you to pay via Credit Card or Paypal with just a few clicks. URPad.net is also accepting Moneybookers, on top of Paypal/Credit Cards/2Checkout as of today. You can select your desired payment method in your next open invoice. We also have plans to accept Alertpay and Liberty Reserve within the next week but right now our main focus is making this transition as smooth as possible for our valued clients. For you you should notice nothing but improved services and support which is what you deserve.

If you currently have a recurring Paypal subscription setup with URPad.net, we ask that you cancel those immediately within your Paypal dashboard. We will not be responsible for any active subscriptions with the previous owner. You will be able to setup recurring payments with us via 2Checkout in the next open invoice you have with us or you can resort to manual payments its all up to your personal preference.

Sorry I'm not aware of all procedures. Just kind of things which makes me wonder.

Congrats to Chris and gang @ FTN Hosting. While they might not be massive in size, they are pretty old so that should count for something

As for Urpad.net, I've heard of it before, quite a few times, not sure when but good to see it going into good hands at least

I am a host and I received the same email...what is the big deal.
He did some coding and we are in his whmcs.

If you WERE customer then its useless to discuss anything about the host with which you are not hosted currently.

it is your opinion but in my opinion it is very useful post for new customer.

I can confirm this is true as well. My friend who was the founder and previous owner (Brian) sold the business to FTN around the 28th of this month. He was good but I am waiting to see how these guys work, whether it gets bigger or smaller, etc.
