Wrote a VPS Tutorial, can't post it due to post count.

And apparently formatting is out too. Is it possible to have this restriction lifted so I can post the tutorial I spent the last 2 1/2 hours on?

I'd prefer not to spam around just so I can use formatting. How was that a good idea anyway?

Just make a few posts . 10 posts are not that difficult to make on these forums.

This ^^

I think if you check around if you can write a vps tutorial you can probably easily find threads you can help others in.

Sorry I don't see us lifting that restriction. Just participate..

Yes, I'm working on getting my post count up. Not to be difficult (I can certainly understand restricting access to the advertising forums until a user has contributed to the community) - but don't you reason it's a little counterproductive to make users participate so they can write a tutorial? Both answering questions and writing tutorials are providing valuable information to the community.

Had I known beforehand that I'd have to invest all this extra work, I probably wouldn't have written the tutorial to start with. I wouldn't be surprised if others feel the same way. I'm an engineering student. I'm busy enough already.

(I hope you don't take offence to this, I'm mainly just blowing smoke to get my post count up).

Those 10 posts can be made within 15 - 20 minutes if you participate properly
