Anyone know why it takes 29 hops to get to Site5?
I would love to sign up with them,(great space, huge bandwidth, nice control panel, quick reply to my presales questions) but I don't understand their connection - looks like they're still with quest too

Yep, we are still with Qwest, unfortunately.

Sometime within the next week (possibly two), the Qwest connection will be replaced by 4 DS3 lines into 4 major backbones such as MCI Worldcom, Level3, and two others.

We are really looking forward to this switch as it will increase network speed, as well as add redundancy in the event that one of the connections fails. If one of the connections goes down, any of the remaining connections can be cranked up to OC-3 speed (3 DS3's) to handle the extra traffic load.
