Question

STT2 Plugins


Hello everyone

Just wondering, why most hosting company do not allow the use of Search Terms Tagging plugins ? Was it so bad and harmfull

You are referring to shared hosting correct? On a dedicated you run the show and can install it no problems.

Yes its for shared hosting
Anyway some say that it consume a lot of memory and process
But as I can see in my cpanel, its pretty low

Do they? Actually ban it? Or have you had problems in the past that your host suggested might be down to that particular plugin. I can't recall ever seeing a mention of STT2 in the terms of service of any host.

I've messed with it before and it's a little resource intensive. OP's probably bounced off of a couple of shared hosts if he had a semi-successful blog.
