You could check the hosts listed in FindYourHost.co.uk, not many there yet, but I know they are working on it. Checking out reviews on HostSearchUK.com won't do you too wrong either.

Not really - UK prices are, on the whole, more expensive (if you are talking about UK located servers.
Rip off Britain to a certain extent... but most of the people here are fairly priced. Compare them to the ads in the computer magazines !

UK prices...
If you look at some of the larger companies, especially those that have been around a long time, then they can be amazingly expensive. We regularly get new customers coming to us from some of these large hosts who are amazed how much better value we are and they actually get some customer service too (and we don't compete at the bargain basement level either). I'm sure that counts for others who've posted here too.
Smaller more responsive hosts, and I think those UK hosts who post here are typical, are competitively priced.

Agreed there Chris, we find the same, we're definately not bargain basement either but get comments about being much better value etc.
