Hi, i don't know if this is the right forum to place this thread, but my question is this:

I'm customer of Softlayer
I'm tired of the service that SoftLayer give me, if i late 1 day to pay my server the next month i must pay $20.00 Usd by "Late Fee".

So i'm opening this thread because i need you to suggest new services dedicated servers, with good support that are cheap, they have good servers (Xeon Quad Core), with no hidden fees or arbitrary charges. Have Cpanel / WHM, Linux, and does not cost more than $ 170 a month.

I'll be waiting.

I can tell you one thing, no provider will like it if you pay late, however, majority are willing to work with you and perhaps give you a few days past due date to make the payment without suspension and/or late fee.

There are a lot of providers who can fit your needs. Just check the offer forums. You can get something like a core i series or a quad core x34xx series machine for your budget on a good network.

Is not all the time that i pay late, it's sometimes when on my work my payment late, i've requested payment extensions but, even with the payment extensions the late fee is charged to my credit card

You can always add funds manually to your SoftLayer account before the due date to prevent the late fee charge.

It will not be easy getting a Xeon Quad Core for $170 with cPanel from a top quality provider as SoftLayer. cPanel itself is about $35 a month, internal license may be cheaper. So the price for the server comes to $135 now.

I would recommend that you speak with Accounting at SoftLayer and change your billing dates so you can pay on time or add funds earlier to your account, since I do not believe you will get a better deal from other providers.

I'm planing leave Softlayer, by that reason i'm seeking a new seriuos cheap dedicated server provider

You can try LiquidWeb. They are also pretty good.
You should always look at the purpose of the server and the quality required to be maintained.

Since we now know your needs, can we also know where you would like the server to be located? Perhaps how much BW are you using? Server specs like RAM and HDD would be a nice thing to tell us as well in order for us to recommend it to you.

What sort of hard disk configuration are you looking for? RAM quantity?

Honestly, I would just contact Softlayer Accounting. They're very good about working with clients.

I think Softlayer provides the best services. I still feel that late fees is something that every hosting provider asks for.

Stay with Softlayer and don't be late with the payment.

It is your responsibility to track the invoice and pay on time.

Possible i move my data to Codero Servers, the server configuration that i want is:
CPU Quad or Dual Core
Redhat or Centos
1TB HD
4GB RAM
3TB Transfer
100Mbps Uplink
Cpanel/WHM
5Ips

Are you needing it to be a Managed Server or Unmanaged Server?

Codero is quite good at what they do, but their prices (the last I looked) is a bit high. Then again, you're getting what you pay for though.

Do you have a certain budget that you need to stick with?

By all means you are at your right to find a new host. I would recommend finding a hosting company that has been around for awhile and has a track record. Also read all the fine print to avoid extra charges for things like support tickets, backups, etc.

$160 Usd is my budget, Codero is rent Core i7, 1TB HD, 4GB RAM, 12TB Transfer, Cpanel/WHM in $153 Usd

Sounds like a good deal. Not bad at all but I think you can get it for only $140 with them. They have a special going on which is limited and their server is only $110. cPanel costs $30. Total $140.
