"Software" is a pretty general term.
What do you mean? Could you shed more light on that?
You could start looking at lynda.com

If you sign up with Photoshop Essentials you can download their entire collection of Photoshop PDFs. According to the website, a 30 day membership is $19.95.
You can also try searching for Photoshop tutorials, I have found many free video tutorials online.
Hope that this helps you out!

I learned Photoshop on my own, and by looking up guides and tutorials when I needed to do something I didn't know how to do. After a while, you pick it up. I doubt it's the most efficient learning method, but it worked for me.
