    .com $11.50/yr $11.50/yr $11.50
    .net $11.50/yr $11.50/yr $11.50

    .us $11.50/yr $11.50/yr $11.50
    .la $49.95/yr $49.95/yr $49.95
    .mobi $7.99/yr $17.50/yr $17.50
    .info $4.99/yr $11.50/yr $11.50
    .asia $19.95/yr $19.95/yr N/A
    .biz $11.50/yr $11.50/yr $11.50

    .idv.tw $34.95/yr $34.95/yr N/A

$11 for a .com? Are they kidding me? How am I supposed to cut profit margins as a reseller if I offer that price to my customers?

That is the low volume pricing
Try signing up to an enom reseller
They make money and you get lower sales fees
Once you have over a set number of clients, then sign up to the enom reseller account and move the domain names across as the come up for renewal

eNom can offer you lower prices if you invest in eNom. For example, its something silly like £5,000 investment into eNom that would be used as your account balance. Then you would be able to purchase the domains at a lower price. However, if your UK Based then once you have the conversion the prices are very reasonable.

I don't really know how to explain this but do correct me if I'm wrong.

There's a few types of pricing with eNom.

    1. Alternative - Starter plan for novice and low volume reseller
(Setup Fee: $195.00, eNom Points: 0 - .com price $11.50)

    2. Basic - Perfect for small to medium sized resellers
    (Setup Fee: $495.00, eNom Points: 0 or buy 1495 eNom Points @ $1495 - .com price $10.50)

    3. Volume - Most popular plan for active resellers
    (Setup Fee: $995.00, eNom Points: 0 or buy 3975 eNom Points @ $3975 - .com price $9.50)

    4. Premier - Lowest pricing plan for power resellers
    (Setup Fee: $1595.00, eNom Points: 0 or buy 6995 eNom Points @ $6995 - .com price $8.50)

Or... (this part I'm not 100% sure), you could just get a reseller account under another reseller of eNom which could create it. They can give you the same low pricing but if I'm not mistaken, the lowest of that I have seen is $8.95 for .com price.

That's as far as I know eNom. I'm not too sure why or how eNom could still survive charging so much for a reseller account when others out there are charging less than them. Their pricing ain't the best out there either. I know of others who are cheaper than them.

Oh well... I guess they are quite the big name in the market.

There aren't many resellers that sign up to the Premier account

This would suggest they hold a Premier account and have not amended the price of their Domain Names
You could buy your Domain Names from them directly, would work out cheaper in the short term

Correct. A reseller can set their resell prices the same as their own for a specific customer. You can search/ask for a reseller that will do that for you. I think I have only seen $8.95 as the lowest Enom offer also.

I'm also seen Enom reseller accounts at $8.95/.com. No doubt they benefit from other domains or the ability to market to you.

I checked out eNom when I first started out and I agree with the OP, their prices are nothing to write home about, you can get these at most registrars, so I don't know why people like eNom.

I think the same problem exists with ResellerClub, you need to put in $2,999 to get .com's at $8.39.
Their lowest plan seems cheaper than Enom though. $99 with .com's for $9.99, so worth looking into.
