Depends how much time you invest in building quality content and traffic. It wont make you a millionaire, but you can earn some money.

I get about $1,000 USD per month from adsense. I have my ads on 7-15 sites, and 1 of them gets about 500,000 uniques per month, and the others are pretty high traffic as well.

If you've got the traffic, it's great.

Depends on what the blog is about, the ad placement and so on.
Also, you may want to push CPA offers in actual posts and leave it ad-free, that could be much more lucrative depending on your niche.

It has a lot of factors -- placement of the ads, how you promote your sites and mostly the traffic. Like Dylan, if you have a great number of traffic, then you will definitely earn a lot yet you need patience to get it.

Patience is one of the keywords. Don't expect to create a blog and then make 1000 usd next month..
