Don't usually run into this much, but had a few where client's had domain and hosting with us. After sometime, they move domain and hosting to new registrar. Later we get chargeback for the renewal fee and domain is already with a new company, so we can't lock domain and disable the user's site.
What are our remedies to get the domain back since they didn't pay. Any formal process with ICANN or something?
I think he means, they moved the domain after they paid the renewal, now he is getting a chargeback for that renewal, but the domain is already renewed and moved.
Is something I would like to know about that also.
I'm planning to offer paypal for domain registration but not sure as I believe Paypal decides on favor of buyer..., or is the vendor?
Paypal seems to always side with the buyer in my experience. That's one of the many reasons we stopped offering PayPal as a payment method. No matter how much proof we would send them they always sided with the buyer, so we stopped using them. Now we just use AlertPay and Google Checkout.
i think you can after 60 days if you call your credit card company or something like that though. just get as much proof as you can that you provided the service and give it to paypal and hope for the best.
