    * An easy DNS management tool for end users?

    Hi,

I saw that this question was asked about 2 years ago, I hope that someone has new info.

Basically I'm looking for a good & easy front-end web interface for customer to managed their DNS records.

I thought about using PowerDNS & Poweradmin, but people told me it's too complicated for them. cpanel/virtualmin/directadmin/ispconfig are not suitable for this job since customers don't get with the service any web/mail hosting packages, only DNS management.

I'm looking for something which is pretty simple: a user writes his domain that he purchased, and he/she add/edit/delete records (A, AAAA, MX, NS, TXT, etc...). Something like zoneedit.com was used to, until they changed lately (and became crappy service/gui IMHO).

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

I'd look at powerdns with different front ends as well:

    - PDNS Admin
    - PowerAdmin
    - PowerDNS Administration
    - TUPA
    - WebDNS
    - ZoneAdmin
    - PowerDNS on Rails
    - PDNS GUI

Sorry can't post links yet, msg me if interested...

cPanel seems to have understood the requirement for DNS only module and thats the reason why they have comeout with this new product. Do check out their DNS only module like the posters above me have mentioned. I am sure that the product will be great because its a cPanel product.
