    Hey Dan,

It's nice, but my opinion would be that it's too complicated and too inflexible.

The things I consider when looking at logos are, for eg.:

What if it's reproduced in a form that has a limited number of colours available, reproduced in a very small size, or reproduced in a poor medium? Complicated or detailed logos tend to look bad in these situations.

Can the logo adapt, or be adapted to, different display aspects? ie, if it has to be displayed in a short, wide area, or in a thin, tall area, or in a square area?

For these reasons, simple block colours are often used, as well as simple shapes.

One idea I like is that logos should still be recognisable in silhouette (ie, lose all detail and all colours) - think of well-known logos; most of them would follow this rule.

    Good luck with it!

    Peter.

I also support the opinion of inveress who had given a very good suggestion of keeping the logo as simple as possible. I am also suggesting you that please don't make your logo decorative. Use very less designs, shapes amd colors as possible.

I already have B&w versions. And It does adapt to size changes well. Thanks for your opinions everyone.

The D is good, scrap the rest. That is my opinion.

In all reality though the design is too complex as it won't even pass the black and white test. Though for a portfolio on the web only logo the d looks to be complete.

A professional logo design uses no more than 4 colors, 2 is best. Take a look at

    Zoom Active
    Target
    Lowes
    Home Depot
    Microsoft
    Rackspace
    etc, etc

The first one is the best however how it should be capable of reproduction at any size, even very small, it is quite detailed.

Also I don't like how the colour of the words fade.

Its a Professional Logo - Now you need to build a company around it for that logo to have meaning.

The logo Is good but if possible do some thing so the J fits on the right of D or just make the J Looks More Dark...Any ways i really like the D...

I'd go with the darker J, but it depends on what background you gonna use it on.

Something can always be done better, as a professional web designer I say the logo is great and looks professional.

I dig it. I feel like the J might need a bit more gradient on it, but overall I think its pretty sweet. I really dig the color wheel in the center.

    Your on a roll

If you ever decide to redesign logo you should use your existing logo as a good base where to start.

Prefer the one with the darker J, I would suggest go less colors, and also check how your logo looks when monochromatic or in grey-scale.

Logo's with more than two colors I don't really like. I think they're too harsh on the eye and doesn't keep customers staring at it. If you look at all major companies, most logos are nice, simple and easy to remember.
