How To Import MySQL dumpfile via SSh
i have mysql backup file and its 100 mb
So i want to install it via SSH
Can you tell me the ssh command
I have the commands but can not get it work giving error
Please take a look here
Anybody can help me to add it explain it correctly
Thanks in advance
There is nothing difficult to use this command. You just have to replace your database details in following command.
mysql -u username -p -h localhost data-base-name < data.sql
data.sql: Is your database sql backup file
database name: is your database name
You need to create that db in your server though.
you might waant to remove the space between -u and the username: -uUSERNAME
as it leads sometimes to strange issues mostly on Debian based OS.
I tried the command but its giving me error

If not, you need to login with the root mysql user and create these. It will more than likely be root, and it will be the password you set when installing mysql.
