    GoDaddy like/dislike?

It seems a lot of people out there hate GoDaddy (myself included) but are there any people that actually like their service? Are there any GoDaddy reps trolling WHT?

I have been fairly satisfied with Go Daddy for domain name registrations.

I tend to use name.com and other registrars more often (lower pricing), but the Go Daddy domain name specials can be pretty good from time to time.

No service issues here, but then again, I merely use them for domain names!

I only use them for domains and they're perfectly fine in that regard. No issues or complaints.

I also use for domains, never had an issue. I like the fact that they call you to make sure everything is set up ok. Thats the only domain site I buy from.

Dislike, I got my domains the heck out of there as soon as I realized how much better I could have it elsewhere. I'm locked onto NameCheap and my friend has transferred her domains out to NameCheap as well.

I used GoDaddy for ages, simply because if you stay on top of things and hunt for coupons every renewal, they were the cheapest deal around.

I got sick of them automatically renewing things though... you'd uncheck auto-renew, and sure enough 9 months down the line it's somehow magically re-ticked. If you don't use a coupon code, they're actually not all that cheap.

Moniker, Namecheap, and a host of other registrars can all beat their prices - not to mention the Wild West Domains control panel for the domains is utter trash.

Yes most of my web design clients use GoDaddy and they usually end up having to call them to reset passwords and such.

I dread their control panel. Also, not happy that they auto-renewed and charged my card for SSL certs without warning, as if they can auto-install themselves too.

I use them for domain names. I've never really had a problem with them. However, I probably still use them just out of convenience and would consider switching if I found something better. I'm not the biggest fan of the control panel. It also seems as if the site/control panel "moves" around around a lot. I can never seem to find what I'm looking for.

Switched from Godaddy to Namecheap, just because I hate their website, too much cross-selling.

There is a lot of cross-selling. I do always feel like I need to keep clicking "No thanks" during the checkout process.

Tried them once, never again. If I'm buying a domain, I'll stick to the simpler Namecheap process

GoDaddy's checkout process == that guy from the SNL/MadTV skit "Can I have your number? Can I have it?"

Go Daddy is fine for domain registrations. Never any problems. Just don't ever get and want to cancel domains by proxy. I'm an experienced user and it took me approx 30 mins to find out how to cancel the damn thing!

I have no comment about their service although I used to register a domain name from them. They are very strict in domain expiry date. I have to renew my domain before the expiry date otherwise, I'll have to pay for the redemption fee when the domain is expired.

I dislike this actually but their domain name offer is pretty low so end up I have no choice but to register a domain from them again.

I use GoDaddy for all my domain names (although, I'm probably going to stop due to the ridiculously long and annoying order process) and I believe it's pretty good.

I have been using Go Daddy for 3 years. If you buy a 3 year plan I know that your costs a drastickly reduced and their tecchnical support is fast and knowlegable.

Godaddy and Moniker both have very strange control panels. Aside from cross-selling crap I always have to google how to manage my domain's DNS with both of them. Other than that I have no complains.

Godaddy is best in domains just google godaddy coupon code and you will find several websites with working coupon and after using them they are the cheapest in the market. Whenever i called them for support always get a nice and helpful response

Even I love the hot girls marketing technique. But other than that, I find nothing exciting about the company to like it.

In fact, from hearing the opinions of various people over time, I'm finding that there are more people who don't like the company than those who like it.

Just checking out godaddy account for first time using clients account.. wow, they really do suck!

My recommendation to client will be to switch hosting providers. The control panel is very lame and far too much cross-selling crap.

And once I tell my client who is an animal lover about the CEO's love for killing elephants, sure he will agree to the switch!!

Amazed that a company like this could be so successful, I guess hot chicks and lots of marketing helps.

I buy domains when they are on offer from GoDaddy, such as .info and .eu but I have to admit their control panel is a piece of sh*t!

I tried GoDaddy, but QUICKLY switched back to NameCheap; because:
    1. Spam. It seems everyday I get a new email from GoDaddy with a new offer on their crappy, slow hosting or something similar.

    2. Terrible Website/Interface. May I say more? It's awful

    3. No control. With NameCheap, I had TONS of options with my domains in their easy-to-use interface. With GoDaddy, it seems as all I can do is change my WhoIS info and change my nameserver info.

    I don't recommend it.
