Thanks for the referral but I doubt I could provide 100% uptime. November was 99.97%, October 99.92%, September 100%, August 99.99% and so on according to pingdom on a 5minute check (meaning if its down at any time during a 5 minute check even if just for a second it counts as 5 minute downtime)

FutureHosting or KnownHost are about as reliable as it gets.

Every provider will have bad reviews. Many customers are jerks, many are stupid, many are scammers and many more are fine people who have had bad experiences that may or may not be the host's fault. If you find a host with mostly positive reviews, and a few bad ones, read the bad ones carefully to see if they are valid.
You will not get 100% uptime on your site. Most people think those promises mean that their site will be up 100% of the time. But it won't. They don't count "routine maintenance" in that promise. And your site can be down even though the server is not.

It's provided right on the support page: http://ionvz.com/support/ Node1 being the primary box
Which links to the public pingdom page: http://stats.pingdom.com/ce9lezby6gzm/190014
(node 2 is a directadmin server for the shared customers who are still around)
Only reason it wasn't 100% this month is because there was a security update for the OpenVz kernel that needed to be applied and even though it only takes a minute to reboot a box, 1 second of downtime if caught by pingdom is counted as a full 5 minute of downtime with the way I configured it. (guess you could say uptime is higher than reported, but at least clients are notified if a box is going to be rebooted.)

If you want a guestimate you can always type into google "100 british pounds to USD" you'll get a calculator response on top of search results saying "155.0100 US dollars". Right now its roughly 1.55 british pounds to USD, however keep in mind that currency conversions can be done either by your credit card processor or other means and also some banks might also charge you a cross border fee.

I would recommend burst.net I have hosted a box with them for almost a year. No problems from them and short down time for maintence was all I was down. I have tried dmehosting also but only for a few days but everything is going fine support just takes awhile.
