What happen after Suspension account in cPanel

    Hi all,

I have one issue...my account has been suspended by one host provider because it overloaded their server.

I asked for full cPanel backup and downloaded it. Then uploaded at different provider and changed DNS.

But the website showed still as suspended. So I found out that new .htaccess file has been created on root directory, which I deleted and website is running well now (I hope).

Is there anything else that has been changed on FTP, or somewhere else in settings? Or this .htaccess is the only thing?

It could be your DNS that hasnt updated(at your computer/ISP)

Try using a proxy to see if you can see the actual site on the new host.

That's not a problem, I am sure that it pointed to new server and I found this .htaccess which redirects to default suspended page...

the .htaccess is used for redirecting your domains..
And as long as you have configured you DNS correctly in your new CPanel everything is fine.

Check your DNS settings to see if they are pointing to the old servers. You can access it via cPanel. Do also make sure that the cpanel that you access is on your new hosting server, not your old. Make sure that all IP addresses stated in the DNS records are pointing to the new server's IP address. If it is permitted, using an IP address or the web hosting provider's address to access the cpanel is best.
