I am planning to shift from shared hosting to knownhost VPS. The problem is I can't decide how much RAM to go for.
My blog gets 40000 pageviews each day. Although my current webhost says 2024 MB should be the one I should buy but I think that's more than required.
Currently server load says 4.50(16 cpus). I can't make out what this means.
YES, VS3 seems to be the plan to start with and you will see how things go, if you need a bit more RAM, then do a customer upgrade, if you need a lot more, go for VS4.
You can also try to tweek and optimise your website so that you need less RAM to run things smoothly, once you're on board, open a ticket and you'll probably get great help from the techs at KH!
Thanks for quick reply
There's a budget constraint. I am limited to 550$ for annual package. Trying to fit my needs in this amount
Also, I intend to run only 1 wordpress hosted blog.
You can start monthly and then convert to annual payments once you feel comfortable. This is popular amongst our clients so you don't pay so much upfront to later realize you need to do an upgrade, etc. JFYI.
