Need to order 5 VPS from different providers

I need to get 5 VPS from different providers. Budget is $5 - $7 each VPS.
    Minimum 512Mb RAM
    Disk space/bandwidth/location/etc does not matter

Which provider fits this budget and configuration? They also must have OK - Great reputation.

123systems, burst.net, buyvm.net, etc. - it's not hard to find small budget VPSes in that range. But...what benefit are you deriving from having 5 different providers?

I see your point, but five different budget providers doesn't guarantee this. You could easily find five different budget providers all in the same datacenter.

    Indeed.

However, there are many different reasons for what the O.P. is trying to accomplish. It could be SEO or GEO/IP, among other rationale.

I am testing a script that syncs data between different VPS / Servers, want to make sure it syncs correctly even if there is latency, etc.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll checkout 123systems and buyvm.

checking the test IP and do a traceroute would give you a clear idea of where it is hosted. =P
