    Plesk migration

I have a few virtuozzo containers running in a Windows 2003 Virtuozzo Hardware node. Recently I setup another server with Windows 2008 Enterprise Edition 64-bit and want to migrate a few containers to the new hardware node. I know it is not possible to directly migrate since the operating systems are different. However, I want to know if I can create new containers in the new hardware node and migrate websites from containers in old hardware node to the containers in the new hardware node using Plesk Migration tool? The containers in the old hardware node have plesk installed and I will be installing Plesk in the containers created in the new hardware node too.

So, you mean to say using the Plesk Migration tool, the websites can be migrated easily?

Yes no issues or use the psa backup and restore on the target servers ..its time consuming...

That really depends on the size of the sites/data.

I've even had some pretty decent experiences with these migrations:
    - Plesk 9 Linux ~ Plesk 9 Windows
    - Plesk 8 Windows ~ Plesk 9 Windows

It was all documented in the Parallels forums. One of the few times I was able to completely rely on the Plesk official site! (You find many good tips by "Googling" around, as well as just reading the Plesk documents and learning about the panel.)
