I am getting a new phone. I am not sure as to which phone I should get. I hear some bad things about the battery life on android. Just wondering everyones opinion on this and which phone is better for you?
I can't comment on the Nexus S, because have never had one.
My current phone is the Samsung Captivate (Android Galaxy). Before that had the iPhone 2G -> iPhone 3GS -> iPhone4.
My android does use more battery life, but IMO it's a much faster phone in terms of performance so I'm willing to deal with it.
After switching from the iPhone to the Android, I'll never go back. The android is an open platform, I find that it's more flexible and you can do a bit more with it due to lack of restrictions. I have my phone completely hacked up, modified kernel, OS, also made customizations to the phone that wouldn't be possible on an iPhone.
Samsung Galaxy (Android). you have more ctrl over it, compared t iPhone.
It's hard for me to recognize some of these Android phones as actually being 'android.' The phone makers bastardize the OS so dramatically, removing many of the great features, and then adding their own awful features that it just ruins the Android experience.
Both are out dated. I'd wait for the next pure android phone or the iPhone 5.
The 4 is not outdated by any means, it's a year old.
Waiting for the 5 will mean waiting for another year at minimum, as they're not going to release it until it's LTE AND 4G compatable.

I am getting the iPhone in 2 months when my contract ends. I'm with Verizon and I really want to get a 4G android, but it seems all the 4g phones are having problems either with battery life, or maintain a constant 4g connection which is to be expected with first gen products.
By the time my new contract ends 4g would be at it's prime and I'll have better devices to choose from.
I just bought LG P970. The phone itself not bad. I like the sceen, it is clear and bright enough (I have forgotten what technology is using), the screen is sentive enough and there are 4 function tool at the bottom of the phone.
The minus points are, I have to login to Gmail before activate any applications. The calendar reminder notification ring only once, no matter what ringtone you choose. If you missed it, that's it!
