Recurring payments via paypal. Not being processed at weekends?
Hi Guys,
Quick question..
Ive got payments due to be taken on the 4th through paypal.
Normally paypal are good at this and the payments go though every month on the same day fine.
However payments that were due yesterday still havent been processed ?
I look at the recurring payments section and it states that they are due on the 4th ( its now the 5th? )
Do paypal not work on weekends? or do recurring payments just not come out at weekends?
Just wondered if anyone else has seen this before?
While its not a big issue, It would be good to know ( So I cant code the systems to ignore weekends )Live Chat Support Software for your Business website - IMsupporting.com

Most would do Saturday but Sunday is usually a holiday. You might call them at 1-888-847-2747 to see how their system works.

I've never received money on Sundays whenever I withdraw funds to my bank account from PayPal on Saturdays, Maybe I think they won't work on Sunday's.
Better if you call them & ask your query.

The payment went through this morning ( 3 days after it was due to be charged )
Meh, well at least paypal actually charged my client in the end.
Doesnt seem to make much sense that it didnt go out yesterday either.

For me in the UK I've never been faced with that issue, payments are recieved on time every month. The only issues I face is when creating a new recurring profile and the person uses a PayPal account that has no funds, for one reason or another PayPal marks the profile as pending for a few hours then processes the transaction.
I can only assume it is because it is waiting for the funds, but it is annoying to customers who expected services to be activated straight away!█ PhoneSupportWorldwide.com

Yeah its odd indeed.
Ive had payments come out today as expected.
The "problem" payment came out eventually without any issue ( as far as i know )
Maybe paypal wehe having a funny 5 minutes.
Annoyingly I contacted their support for clarification on the process ( so i can decide on the best grace period )
They were meant to get back to me within 24 to 72 hours..
1 week later.. Nothing lol.Live Chat Support Software for your Business website - IMsupporting.com
