Server Apache Status looks bad
Current Time: Saturday, 04-Jun-2011 20:26:46 EDT
Restart Time: Monday, 16-May-2011 23:40:02 EDT
Parent Server Generation: 193
Server uptime: 18 days 20 hours 46 minutes 44 seconds
Total accesses: 46346685 - Total Traffic: 31.9 GB
CPU Usage: u10.17 s14.71 cu269.81 cs0 - .0181% CPU load
28.4 requests/sec - 20.5 kB/second - 739 B/request
33 requests currently being processed, 22 idle workers
I've been getting a lot of people emailing me saying they are getting lots of 504 Timeouts when accessing the website.
I've noticed that my Apache is quite slow per request! Many other server status' that I have seen are a lot faster.
Here is the httpd:
Any help would be really appreciated.
Your ServerLimit and MaxClients values are way too high. Are you sure you have enough RAM to justify such values?
I would also drop the keepalive timeout down. People loading a page will make all their requests within 1-2 seconds unless they're on a super slow connection, so set it to 3 seconds. That will free up servers faster.
