Few years ago, the hosting company I worked for, ordered the video tutorials from demodemo.com .
The videos helped clients to understand how to setup, etc. It also reduced the support time to explain them in words/chat. So, yet it's really useful for both clients and support team.Web Hosting Business Guide Book - Getting & Managing Your First 1,000 Clients in Web Hosting

Good man! I can testify (throws his hands up in the air!) that having video tutorials takes a huge load off of a help desk for common tasks and clients absolutely love them. Personally, I think subscribing is the better deal... I think it's $20 or $30 a month with DemoWolf and you can lease ALL of their tutorials. They also have an importer for WHMCS or Kayako to integrate into your knowledgebase or however you want them setup.
Rob, the owner of DemoWolf, is a good guy and he's Canadian... ever meet a Canadian who wasn't a good guy? Of course you haven't!RACK911 Labs | Penetration Testing | https://www.RACK911Labs.ca

This thread is pretty helpful. I was not aware how much people appreciated video demos. I'll have to look into them myself.
Do y'all find that subscribing to tutorials is better than making your own tutorials? *curious*

I'm all for video editing and creation, so if you can make a set of video tutorials yourself that will help your clients, then I say go for it! You can have more control over the presentation of the videos as well as integrate your brand more into the video, such as using overlays, backgrounds, and transitions. This could be time consuming, but it can also be a fun project for you and your team to work on! If you don't have the time to put a lot of effort into them, then subscribing to tutorials from leading tutorial sites might be a better option for you.

So whats the client feedback like on these?
My partner brought these to my attention a couple months ago, I bookmarked it and thought it was a 'cool idea', but never had that urge to implement it. But... we're growing, spend more times on tickets, and if these are something that clients will actually utilize as opposed to immediately jumping to the Support Ticket, then well, sign me up![ IncogNET LLC ] Privacy By Design [Liberty Lake, WA][Kansas City, MO][Allentown, PA][Naaldwijk, NL]

I could tell you our clients (hosting companies) save anywhere from 50-90% off the cost of providing support (answering tickets, phone calls, etc) for standard, repetitive questions that are easily answered by watching the videos... but instead of taking my obviously biased word for it, you can read testimonials from our clients on our RatePoint profile page... a third party collector of company feedback:

I'm a huge, huge fan of video tutorials. Years ago, before we had video tutorials, I can't tell you how frustrating it was to walk people through setting up email accounts, changing domain registrars, using various cPanel functions - it was frankly a huge pain in the ass.
Think of how much time is wasted walking clients through so many tasks that could be solved with a simple video tutorial. Let's say a client wants to know how to change his or her cPanel password... instead of writing up a 3 minute answer with detailed step by step instructions, send them a link to the video tutorial in 10 seconds and be done with it. (Edit: I don't have the stats handy, but I would bet my life that clients use the video tutorials more than enough to warrant the minimal cost. Not to be rude, but you would be stupid not to offer these to your clients. It's a win win situation for everyone.)
I think of video tutorials like the invention of the wheel... the ride is much smoother for everyone!RACK911 Labs | Penetration Testing | https://www.RACK911Labs.ca

Well we took the plunge and decided to add the most common items (cPanel, WHM, WHMCS) to our list.
It's much faster to just link a client to the direct video as opposed to me going into WHM to make a simple guide like:
Step 1: Login into WHM
Step 2: Scroll down to 'DNS Functions' on the left side
Step 3: Choose 'Edit DNS Zone'
