    Credit Card Processor - Recommendations?

We've been using First Data (FDIS) for our credit card processing for years, plus Authorize.net as the gateway.

But within the past 2 years we've seen a non-stop parade of fee increases. Things like tiny up-steps in discount rates, new below-the-line "because we can" fees, a new $75 annual "compliance" fee, more client cards being tagged in the mid-qual and non-qual tiers, etc.

We're PCI compliant, complete with quarterly scans by Security Metrics (3rd party) who sends the "pass" reports to FDIS.

We've never had a chargeback, ever.

Have you guys seen your fees slowly climing recently? Who do you recommend for card processing?

I think it's time for us to start shopping for a new processor.

I have a friend who uses CDGcommerce and he says the rates are good on the surface but that they get you with the "non-qual" card rate add-ons. He found a deal that provides a good base rate with a fixed non-qualified rate of an additional 0.5%, which is amazing. If you ask you can usually get better rates, because virtually all of the merchant service providers have lots of "wiggle" room when negotiating.

Yeah, we have used CDG for many years. Overall they're good, but you're right about those non-qual rates. It seems to me that's how most providers get you.

Thanks for the recommendation. What specifically do you like about them?

The fees seem reasonable, especially for card-present transactions.

2checkout.com They have best payout option – payoner. IT is suitable if you do not want to pay tax on your income because payoneer acc is not in your country.

I would highly recommend CDGCommmerce. They have some of the best rates in the industry, in housed tech and customer service support, several API's for you to integrate with your site, including a free Gateway option you can use for your credit cards. More info can be found through their website at www.cdgcommerce.com

CDG doesn't appear to have a lot of details on their website. Does anybody have any experience with them in terms of how they handle fraud/chargebacks?

Merchant Warehouse seems to be my favorite because of their live support that's always available. I like having companies with 24x7 live support, because I'm not a big phone kinda guy unless I have to. Besides, their rates are great!!
