arvand i know it how to restore but i was unable to restore it my self because i had been too busy in office for last week and home computer was out of order that is why i asked arvixe guys to do so in fact you guys responded timely and showed professional manners
Great to read another positive post here! I am not surprised though; having personal experience with Arvand and Arvixe, I too know them to be very professional and honest in their dealings with people. For shared hosting, you cannot go wrong with Arvixe.

Why did it take over three days to restore using an r1soft backup? Unless it was over the weekend, I wouldn't really want to wait that long.
actually there was a problem first they told me that currently backup is runnig as far as it is completed we will retore it after file restoration i found sql is not restore it was mine mistake that i could not understand that sql will have to restore seprately then they replied me that sql backup was taken on last saturday and file back up is on monday what should we do i asked them to restore sql to saturday position and file to latest state after this sql database was not bieng shown in cpanel then they did some trick with cpanel and it came back
finally it is done
sql data is about 300 mb and files are about 1.5 gb
Good to know. I have had real problems trying to get web techs to restore files. I know one place that actually refused a friends to restore his web files and he had to threaten them with legal action to do so.
First, please let me outline that we are one of very few hosts w/ 300+ shared servers offering full R1Soft backups to our customers. Secondly, its important to note that R1Soft restores are available through the control panel.
Lastly, we have always mentioned that R1Soft backups are not a substitute for our customers' own backups. They are there simply to make sure that in case of a catastrophic hardware failure, we have the necessary backups ready to restore the data. Since R1soft allows restoring of individual files, we pass that perk on to our customers only when its feasible and available.
With that said, especially over the weekend (but not limited to), each node maybe backing up several hosts or may be doing several backup windows back to back. Restores can not happen when backups are performing and in case a defragmentation of the disk safe is required, a backup can take as long as 3-5 days. This means that restores will have to wait. We always maintain that these backups are first and foremost for all collective users on the server in case of catastrophic failures and those who do need to use the backups for individual restores must wait until proper backups are completed for each server.
I am continually shocked to see that users on this forum take a negative stance and attempt to put down other hosts whenever possible even in a post that outlines a positive review.
