VPS for OpenVPN in UK. Any recomendations?
I am looking for a VPS server in the UK with two IP addresses to run a single OpenVPN connection to. My main considerations are 1) Reliability 2) Price. Any recommendations?
Any space and bandwidth requirements? Manage or Un-managed? Budget?
Let us know so we can assist you further.

I won't need much bandwidth or space.
Un-managed will be fine.
The cheaper the better. So ideally the most reliable server for the price. My server demands will be almost nothing, so I guess my question is what is the cheapest most reliable uk vps host that allows multiple ips on one server?
not sure they are the cheapest you will find but for speed and reliability you may want to check out racksrv.com they can allocate multiple IP's with justification and have been in business a while.

I used fsckvps, which is a sister site to CheapVPS: cheapvps.co.uk
I don't do currency conversions. ;-)
Most providers will give you two IPs its not much to ask for and even if you have to buy one seperate it should be 2 pound max
How many ips do you need? What is your OS preference?

Any linux distro. CentOS is what I am most familiar with.
Just 2 IPs.
Most providers can manage OpenVPN. Search on Lowendbox.com
I can recommend Europhase.net. Rock Solid service.I'm using their service for almost 10 months and i like it very much.
Not as cheap as many other providers , but excellent in reliability and support. if you look at their ads at LEB,you can get a 256MB Xen (lower BW than their normal package) with lower Price(like their 128MB Package).
You can search for my reviews about them.(Posted in WHT)
Would you guys recommend OpenVZ or XEN for my VPS? considering I will be running OpenVPN.
OpenVZ will be cheaper
I think I am going to try europhase.net because of their 99.9 SLA and affordable price. It costs the same fro XEN or OpenVZ. Which is better?
We use openVZ personally but its entirely upto you
XEN Support more templates than openVZ i believe.
With Xen you can setup PPTP VPN, You can't do that with Openvz
OpenVPN is extremely secure when compared to the PPTP VPN, and also more stable, there is no reason to think of Xen unless you want to run PPTP
I am signing up for europhase and it requires a host name.
I really don't need a host name, a IP address or generic one would be sufficient. What would I put in that feild? or should I just sign up for a host name? If so, what company should I use?
It shouldn't really matter what you put in there.
I guess that makes sense. So I can just put nothing.noserver.com, and I would be cool?
They will give me the IPs I need right?
Should I use a service like no-ip.com? Is that the best service?
Yes that right. What would you need to use no-ip.com for?
