    Dynadot or

I'm looking for a new registrar for my 7 domains.

From searching through this site, I've seen a lot of people recommend both Dynadot and I want to go with a US based registrar for my own reasons, so is out.

Anybody have bad experiences with Dynadot or

Any reason to go with one over the other?

I saw a couple threads saying it was a little difficult to transfer out of, but I'm with 1&1 now, so I guess I can put up with a little difficulty .

I am currently with and I am very pleased with them. Transfers were very easy to them, which I have done with several domains. You can't go wrong with them!

    Hey guys,

My Name is Ashley and I work at Just wanted to join the thread in case there are any specific questions I can help answer. Transferring out of Name is relatively painless however we much prefer when people keep their business with us!

We have a transfer pricing special that starts tomorrow, June 1st and runs through the end of the month: $7.39 transfers - no hidden fees! This price includes the ICANN fee.

Let me know if we can do anything to make your transfer as smooth as possible. You can always email support(at)name(dot)com or hit us up at facebook/namedotcom or on Twitter: namedotcom

Name & Dynadot are about the same, imho. You'll be happy with either. Name has a superfast checkout, whereas Dynadot's is a bit meandering. Transferring out at Dynadot is easier. You need to request a transfer to be expedited at Name, but at Dynadot it's a click of a button. I personally chose Dynadot over Name because they had more advanced features.. like folders which you could set preset whois contacts and nameservers too.

    Did you read my tutorial..

I've used both for quite a while now. They're both easy to use, although I like the control panel at dynadot better.

They are both easy to transfer into and out of.

I use Dynadot in all cases over
Each registrar is a tool. Not all Tools are for the same thing
