I'm a long time reader, first time poster here at WHT.
I consider myself very fresh when it comes to hosting so I try to read up and learn as I go along.
Right now I'm having a problem with Vexxhost and with my server being down for more than 24 hours. That is - it has been 27 hours since I noticed the server was down and mailed their "emergency helpdesk" asking them if they could look into it.
I've yet to receive >ANY< response!
However, I know they have seen the ticket, because after about 13 hours, I filed a ticket with their regular helpdesk (thinking perhaps the emergency helpdesk was down?), and the two ticket have since been merged into one, but no response!
I run several websites off of my dedicated server, amongst them one particular that receives 8000+ unique visitors per day, and I can't begin to stress how much damage a 24 hour downtime does!
I'm appalled at the service to say the least! I can't believe this would be acceptable, even though it is weekend?
Thank you for taking care of it. I'm still very upset that it took almost 30 hours before anything other than the ticket being merged happened. And it being fixed within 3 minutes of me posting about it in a public venue.
