You can go with them if you are not afraid of short-term problems. They have very good support and you definitely can go with them if you need low-cost services, their prices justify their quality.

I think they are pretty good in prices, support and network. They're probably not a great choice if you run mission critical applications, but if you just want a cheap high-bandwidth server they're great.

But I should note that I only have had servers in their Chicago (now almost full afaik) and Zlin (EU) locations. Their Denver location had some problems when it first opened, but I don't read much problems about Denver these days.

I had servers from both Chicago and Denver with them once. But I guess I don't have it with them anymore. The reason I left them is because most of the time when I am with them, the connection to the server is just ridiculously slow.

If anyone here is saying that their 100Mbps connection is fast, please I would like to be stood corrected. I've told them many times about this and they did basically nothing much about it. I do not really recommend them but then again, they do offer 100Mbps Unmetered so that's the only plus to their servers.

we have used FDC in past and had no issues. Support will answer mostly by 12 hrs.

If you are looking for little premium network, you can choose 100tb.com.

FDC is very good for what you get in my opinion. Their support is very fast and to the point. If you need any sort of support on top of hardware/network though, you'll need to get a third party management provider as FDC is an unmanaged provider.

If you need that amount of b/w, just go with 100Tb.com, much better IMO.

So far I have a server in their company. The traffic can push to ~80% on a 1Gbps port. But I dont know why their web interface cannot show up my real traffic ( should be 800Mpbs )

It will have some delay if you go for Asia area. We have some delay to control the server

I have rented a dedicated server in their Chicago location before and I didn't have many major issues. There was the occasional packet loss at peak times. That would be the only negative feedback.

They usually reply faster than within 12 hours. Depends what kind of issue it is. If it's a sales or billing issue, then during regular business hours. Some networking issues that require some in depth investigation may also require you wait for regular business hours. Most things that a regular tech can handle like reinstalls, reboots, other kinds of issues, are almost always handled in just a few minutes.

I have some servers at FDC, they are great for the price you are paying. Support is fast, generally respond in minutes.

As with every provider they are targeting a very special niche. Their niche are people who want servers with lots and lots of bandwidth, but quality of the network isn't much of their concern.

People generally go to FDC for hosting game servers or anything that is bandwidth intensive because they offer one of the best deals on bandwidth in the planet, but they don't utilize the best network nor hardware.

As for what would work best for you, you haven't stated what you will be hosting, so we cannot really give proper advise.

I would argue that the niche is not that special anymore. They still have a few points where they do well in terms of reasonably priced upgrades or one-off hardware upgrade prices, but for strictly raw bandwidth deals, 100tb has taken over because you typically get something that's both better and cheaper. Although there are many low-cost high-bandwidth copycat hosts out there now, I would still put FDC as the second place runner up, as all the "100tb" wanna-be hosts, none of them can really offer what 100tb does, or even what FDC does usually.

If you are referring to our prices, you are reading them wrong, those are quarterly rates.

Hopefully, this isn't self promoting, got the keyword alert to my phone and wanted to clarify.

Fast for me, 1GB in 16 seconds

I tend to see extremely fast transfers from both their Chicago DC and Denver DC.
