way to go hostrail you made your vps **** as that cant even reinstall os to vps without saying i no vps
so people thinking its a good offer to buy there vps think again
and i heard support is rubbish so i can see i wont get any help and if i dont i will make a paypal claim
Maybe it is just me (i am not a native English speaker), but i couldn't understand sh*t of what you were trying to say...
Now about your problem: what error did you get when you tried to yum update - "out of memory" or similar? If yes, this is a known problem with yum and a recent update (the filesystem package, from May 11th) that requires a lot of memory to process the update. The best fix is to ask your host for a temporary memory increase so you can do the os update.
Firstly, you bought a vps, so you must understand some command line to make your vps work well.
Secondly, VPS from HostRail can yourself reinstall using HyperVM. I was installed it completed without make ticket. If your site (after that) don't work, let's enable port 80 or request to HostRail.
Thirdly, many problems can fix by google search. Can't update yum? Let's google. I fixed many problems by just search and update with my command.
With HostRail, you don't need wait for your support. Your budget isn't enough to become a VIP member and got direct-support, so you must yourself do it first.
My VPS under HostRail is working well from begin of month. Let's check.
I've got a VPS from HostRail and while the performance is a bit slow, it works perfect. This sounds like a case of operator error to me. If you require your host to install Kloxo correctly then you're problems are between the back of your chair and the monitor.
While I completely understand that you're a paying customer, for $1.40 a month you're definately taking up way more support than you're paying for and taking away from the clients who have legitamate issues.
i paying $10 and i not wasting that for nothing i made a claim on paypal anyway so i better get a refund and i thinking of making a hostrailfail domain site not sure to use wordpress for people to leave there comments about them
LoL, you've made my morning. So you think "wasting" $10 on a VPS that works fine but doesn't work exactly how you want it out of the box is bad, but wasting $10 on a domain to publicly display how you aren't able to perform basic Linux administration and tasks is worth it?
