Is LeaseWeb good?

I have a question that is probably directed to those of you who already have a server with LeaseWeb in the US or Netherlands. Recently my dedicated server provider where I have some servers from (Netdirekt.de) became LeaseWeb Germany.

What I wanted to find out here is if LeaseWeb is reliable and what the experiences are or if I should move my servers somewhere else. Do they have a good support? Any advise?

We recently ordered a server with Leaseweb but decided to cancel the server shortly after simply due to the slow support times, which were on average 24 hours. It seems unless you pay for a SLA support package, the quality of support you'll get is useless. Their best SLA is a 4 hour response time package costing 170 euros per month, which is likely to be more than your actual server. A 4 hour response time is bad anyway, and you should not have to pay for this. Support should be <1hr for any ISP providing dedicated servers, and it should be free, or at least a reasonable cost compared to the server.

I have enjoyed four - five years of great service with LeaseWeb. Superb network, hardware and staff.

Support is excellent. I usually get answers within 20 - 30 minutes at any time of any day, although it's rare I even have to contact them.

Edit: In light of the post above, I want to clarify that I am not on an SLA.

Mr X, you must be lucky then. We had one server there for DNS purposes, when their hardware failed it took them 4 days to get it resolved (there was nobody there over the weekend). No SLA, but I would expect hardware to be covered regardless.

We would be interested in reviewing this, since it should not have taken 4 days. We do have 24/7 on-site techs, including weekends at our datacenters. Please pm us your ticket number for this incident and we will be glad to take a look.

Lease web is new to me So , Sorry I cannot say anything about this company.
It is always recommended to get the servers which are located in the heart of the city and best known for the quality and service they provide to there customers.

Most customers are very satisfied with the quality of LeaseWeb support, which is available 24/7. Do you currently have a server with us? Please pm us your client number and we will be glad to review any issues. Thanks .

I see their website is down, or unreachable - doesn't seem like a good sign?
