What do you find reasonable? And how much rackspace, traffic and power you need?

We're paying about $1000 for 42U cabinet with 2x30amps/208v feeds and 100mbps unmeetered in US. Looking for something similar in EU.

If that cabinet has powerusage included on that 2 x 30 Amps/208 feeds then you will not find similar deals in the Netherlands.
$1000 for 60 amps total powerusage (on 208 volts = ~110 amps on 110 volts) is even in the USA a remarkably good deal, unless you mean the second 30 amps is a backup feed? (even then its a extremely good deal).Last edited by swiftnoc; 05-27-2011 at 04:47 AM.

Is it 32Amp with 32Amp Backup ?
Is the 32Amp the maximum capacity breaker ?
Do you realy use so much power in your cabinet ?
How many servers do you host in the actual cabinet you use and what kind of hardware ? Single cpu ? Dual cpu ? Xeon ? Celeron ?
Some more details would be welcome

I assume the power is not included in the 1000 USD he mentions That's just impossible.

Burstnet in the UK seem to have budget pricing... not sure about the 1000 USD mark though.

Hi guys,
Just checked my contract, we're using 2x20amps A feeds (not 30amps, my bad). Link is 100mbps billed at 95%. However, we can't pack the whole cabinet with servers coz we're jumping over the allowed power consumption.
Here is the sample config of the servers we're installing:
"dual Intel Xeon Gulftown E5606, 8x 2.13Ghz cores, 2x 8M L3 Supermicro X8DTL-iF dual socket 1366 server board, 6x DDR3 DIMM slots 1x Supermicro SNK-P0037P passive heatsink (CPU2) 1x Dynatron G199 Active CPU cooler (CPU1) 24GB (6x 4GB) ECC DDR3-1333, 0x open 4x Western Digital 1TB RE4 RAID Edition 7200rpm, 64M buffer Adaptec 5405 4-port SATA-II/SAS hardware RAID-5/6/10 controller Adaptec ABM-800K BBU for 5405 RAID card on-board Intel 82574L 2x Gb NIC ports on-board Matrox G200eW Video, 8M video RAM on-board IPMI 2.0 w/KVM-over-IP & 3rd NIC no optical disk, no floppy Supermicro SC813MTQ-520CB 1U Rackmount Chassis, Black 4x Hot-swap SATA/SAS bays Supermicro 520-watt 1U Power Supply Supermicro 1U Rail Kit"

How many servers you have? What power consumption you will need?
~44 xeons eat around 19-20 ampers - this alone is equivalent of $1000...██ ServerAstra.com website / e-mail: info @ serverastra.com

Each server is about 1-1.5amps, so we can only put like 25 servers per cabinet. Would love to put more but will need high density cabinets

Hi Nihkiruks
I think most datacenters/providers can offer you what you want when it comes to the powerfeeds etc. However in the Netherlands for example, the minimum / lowest one gets is ussually about 12-14ct per kWh for single rack placements. This averages out at about 25 euro's per Amp 220V. Lowest decent cooled racks start at 400 and ussually add a little bit of power or traffic with it.TwiLight INC - Our products: (managed) Colocation, Dedicated servers, RTO, Transit
