Looking for multiple Dedicated server providers in Asia and Eastern Europe
I have a client who is looking to deploy 5-10 dedicated servers throughout Asia and Eastern Europe to support their web services application. The budget is approximately $300 to $400 US dollars per month for each server and the general minimum acceptable specs are a Linux OS, 4-8 GB RAM, single late model quad-core processor, multiple 250 GB hard-drives configured in a RAID array, and 3000 GB of data transfer per month. Could someone recommend providers that could meet these requirements? Thanks.
Which countries in Eastern Europe have your preference?
Does there also have to be good connectivity between this country and Asia?
» www.InstantDedicated.com - Online in no time » Dedicated Servers in [EU] Netherlands with DAILY support, also on weekends » DDOS Protected network - 100% Money Back if it doesn't work for you » Streaming / IPTV allowed | Up to 10 Gbit ports | 100% Network Uptime
Thanks for your response. There is no preference in regards to the Eastern European country. Also, there does not necessarily need to be good connectivity between the country and Asia as each server will be hosting unique content.
The servers can be anywhere in Asia (and Central Europe works also) as there are no legal concerns, just finding hosts meeting the requirements. Also, the servers are to be distributed and not all in the same location as the service will deliver locations specific content.
I believe that a CDN isn't an option since the idea is that each server hosts different content and they are NOT trying to serve the same content on all the servers to be closer to their customer to improve performance.
Yes, this will involve multiple providers and all servers aren't expected to be hosted in the same datacenter, city, country or even region. There will probably only be a single server per datacenter at this time, with the potential of future growth.
