    hi there,

Go to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer, right click on the "panel" you want to have your logs cleared -> Clear Logs

    Hope this helps

There is no "Clear logs" option for "Administrative Events" in Custom Views folder.

Take a look at the screenshot. Thanks.

You can't clear Administrative events as it just shows important logs from "Windows logs and Application & Services logs". You can however clear logs independently from respective service & category.

You need to clear log under Windows Logs.
Try that and see what happens to Administrative events. Hyper-V SSD VPS USA London Singapore

Yes, under "windows logs", right click on the log nodes and select "clear logs".

The logs can certainly be cleared with the directions previous replies have stated. For our educational benefit can I ask why? It would be a minor gain for the sake of freeing up space. Just curious...

I know that the logs can be cleared.

However there are events that cannot be cleared as you can see on my screenshot at the top of the this thread.

I review carefully my log every day and i cleans them after.
