    How to sell a website template?

    I have created a Hosting website with WHMCS integration, i would like to sell it. But i am confused about how to sell it, whether sell it as unique website with full rights or as a template to N no. of clients. looking for your valuable recommandation.

    Just check the places in which people sell their templates. There are some market place websites in which you can upload your template.

    Usually design related forums have marketplace where people buy and sell their stuff. So you should be looking at those.

    Thanks for the reply, i will look in to those forums, but i am asking for a suggestion regarding licencing the website, whether to sell with full rights or as a template to many, which will be profitable

    I'm sorry I got your question wrong for the first time. If you sell it as a single license then of course the buyer will be happily paying a good price which might not be the case in multiple license. Its really upto the target market. If your target market is highly professional then opt for option 1 and for amateur target market, multiple license might do the trick too.

    You can get one time good price if you sell the whole website. And selling the template can let you get more and more money as the popularity goes up. Forum is one of the best place for that. Moreover you can list it in other templates selling websites.

    You can find lots of websites where web designers can sign up to and sell their web templates but i personally like WPThemeMarket.com they are very user friendly..

    You can sell it in themeforest or directly via paypal button.
