Been with Servint for 7 years starting with an Essential VPS and upgrading to a Solo Pro Server 4 years ago. Its been very reliable these four years - its a P4 3.40 with 2GB Ram and 100GB HD. I pay $199 per month.
Servint suggested I migrate to a more modern platform and to my surprise, I have been upgraded to one of their $229 Solo Express Servers with a quad core X3430 Xeon server with 8GB Ram and 500GB Storage .... all for the same $199 -
Now that's what I call a loyalty upgrade and the migration was fast.
I don't think mariushm is accounting for the fact that the server is fully managed at the quoted prices - this obviously makes a pretty significant difference.

God it's these types of attitudes on WHT that bug me, people that never account for profit margins. No wonder there are so many dreadful providers around these parts.
Agreed! The total reliability of the service I receive and my ability to resell the space means I make a living so why shouldn't they ... I'm happy with what I get ... and I think its good value. Sure, I can get a similar spec server for less but what is fast full management worth? $100 per month ? Its like house insurance, you rarely need it but its there when you do!
