Beware Gmail SPAM.Any solution for spammers?

    Hi,
Today i just got a mail "Your Gmail Email account has expired" subject like this. For a moment i just shocked, then i realized the truth. They just made a clone page of Gmail and collecting usernames and passwords. In the specified URL , we can see the domain name of the spammer. Is any chance to file a complaint using the domain name? Where we can complain? Here i pasted the copy of the mail.

We receive alot of spam from google and to be honest we have had very little response from them that has actually stopped the spam. Anybody had any joy with them?

I believe you should not be exposing your email address in WHT if you do not want to be spammed. Someone clearly wants to hack your details, probably bank account details.

We cannot do much about tracking them. Reporting to google will not do good.

Threats seem to work well. J/K. In all honesty you can never be 100% free of spam. I know GoDaddy and other big companies have spam issues so you can't be immune to it either. I have been with a lot of "free" providers since the late 90s including Netscape, Aol. Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail and I have got to say that Gmail is the best!

Just black list any you get and you won't get anymore from that email.

    You can use gmail filter

Also always mark their email as a spam and do not reply to spam emails(otherwise your email will be published to their spamming network )

    It is a phishing page

    It is quite obvious

Report it to HostDime, it seems to either be hosted their or by one of their resellers.

If Gmail wants some confirmation, they do not send email, instead they show a security warning when you login (like they have reminded me to update phone number in the past). So you should pretty much hit the delete button as soon as you see such email.

Such mails should be marked as spam to avoid getting such mails from the same address

    Solution to spam? COMMON SENSE!
DON'T click on links from people you don't know
DON'T click on links that are obviously FAKE
DON'T give your credit card (or any other personal) information when prompted to by an email promoted website.

Good LORD, this is common sense 101. Whatever happened to people actually USING IT!
