    Your thoughts on Kayako?

So I've been eying Kayako for some time and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a better Live Chat software. My budget is about the cost of Kayako and I do not want Live Person.

Kayako Live Chat, or I think it is now called Fusion is actually the best I have used. I mean for a paid service it is more than what I expected, works well, and does the job.

The only cons I suppose you could say is that when you receive a live chat the call comes in with no problems but when a customer responds it comes across instantly though vice versa there is like a couple of seconds on a delay so the actual response you make is not as quick as if the customer was writing and submitting to you.

It is quite weird, but we have never really had too many issues surrounding it.

If I had to give it a rating, I'd give it an 8/10, if you are not wanting to invest in the such you could always go Livezilla which is actually pretty swift for a Free Product.

I think Kayako is great, much better than Live person (and much more affordable).

Yeah I've always disliked LivePerson and still can't believe how expensive it is.

We use Kayako and have since 2008 and I highly recommend it. We also do use Live Person for our Live Chat. LP is expensive but it is definitely worth it.

If you get a lot of licenses you can get a great deal from them.

Provide support is another good one in my opinion. You can have a look into that.

Agreed, I would check out providesupport. Their support is great, and the actual software works very well.

You could take a look at www.zopim.com which is great but doesn't have the professional feel that Kayako has.

We've been using livehelpnow for a couple of months and are really pleased with it. They give a 30 day trial and its under $20 a month for chat and ticketing. I think just the chat is only $9 a month.

I cant comment on if it is any better since I havent used kayako 4. But I have used LiveChat Inc. It has apps for Windows, Mac, iPhone, Android, Windows Phone 7 and blackberry. There new site however isn't as good as informing you about the products features anymore though.

Kayako works, never had problems with it. In the long run, they'll probably add more features, bells and whistles that you might be looking for.

So it might just be worth it for you to stick with it.

I have noticed that Kayako still has a few minor little bugs, I do hope they can be addressed as it would be good to have some of the functionalities working

I agreed, Kayako is the best I have ever used. I also use LiveZilla which is really good especially for the free product.

LivePerson is too pricey for sure. Kayako is a good alternative...
