    Ticket brokers

Does anyone have a clue as to where you can find one?

I'm basically too busy anymore to continue to search for tickets I want myself, and I'm thinking with the mark up on stubhub now-a-days, I might be able to get them cheaper through a broker anyway.

I did actually TRY and Google it, but just found a bunch of lame StubHub resellers.

I was going to say -- Stubhub has a really good setup. It's hard to beat from so many standpoints, including client (purchaser) protection.

Stubhub is great, except for the fact that I have to do it all myself. I'd rather list the 20 Indians games, 4 Browns games, 1 Steelers game, Jersey Boy show, NBA Playoff game, and probably 15 Cavs that I want to go to, and have someone else do it all for me. I'd just rather have someone do it for me.

    Get where I'm coming from?

I found NATB.org and contacted one guy in my area about NBA Finals tickets next week. Wasn't really happy with his service - he couldn't answer any of my questions, so I'm still on the search! He couldn't answer my questions on expected ticket costs, and I'm not looking for exact figures, but I'd like some number to run with. I basically want a sports guru, who knows everything about every stadium to help me get sweet tickets to the best games.

That makes complete sense. In this Internet age, so many people prefer self-service options, particularly when they feel that pricing is concerned (e.g. related to the perception that self-service is less expensive).

Personalized, superior service definitely has its merits, but quality service can be difficult to find. Some people have had good luck with the Visa Signature or American Express concierge services. Have you looked into this? I'm not sure how they would do with tickets, but it might be worth a shot.

Didn't think about that with AMEX... will have to check that out. Especially for the NBA finals tickets!

Indeed! Be sure to look into Visa Signature, as it's really easy to get these days... And Visa Signature cards can be free of annual fees. Visa Signature concierge is sometimes better than the AMEX version, though it really does vary a lot. AMEX makes better travel arrangements, but I'm not sure of sporting events.

The convenience of StubHub and TicketExchange is worth the markup and surcharges. That's just me, and it's probably because I don't live in a large city.
