    help choose korean domain co.kr or KR

    Guys I want to buy a new Korean domain

    www.mydomain.co.kr or www.mydomain.kr

    can't decide what to choose.
    Any Idea you can give me please?

    go with kr . If you for business purpose then take both and park it together. So your customer able to looking for you no matter which domain .

    I also agree with them. Get both domains so all the traffic will be yours.

    You can also check popularity for English representations of Korean words. In Japanese its called Katakana.. For example in Korean Thank you is "Kampsamnida" something similar. May be you can pick something that is close to mydomain? Just a thought, hope that helps.

    I suppose that having .KR domain name (better both of them) would be better for you and for your business which I suppose is local based one.

    both kind of domain are specify for Korean .kr or co.kr but latest tends and Google guide line show that .kr domain name is more beneficial for you Korean local business market as compared to .co.ke because .co.kr is old version of domain name.

    It seems most koreans use co.kr but recently .kr is popular as well.
