Your budget is sensible for this requirement and you should get a good variety of hosts.

One question you will be asked is where do you want this requirement hosted? I assume you are looking for the USA based on your budget being dollars but do you have preference for east/west coast etc. Do you want your servers in the same datacentre, or a provider which can offer multiple locations?

Is the budget for 1 server or for the 2 servers?
Any specific location in mind for these 2 servers?
Are you looking for a premium provider or a budget provider?

Are those cheap desktop 2TB drives, or the expensive enterprise seagate drives for use with a RAID controller?

    What about RAID? IPMI/KVM? Etc?

    Hi,

I am looking for premium server grade enterprise HDDs with Raid 10. If it's KVM it will good but not mandatory.

Is your budget $700 per server, or for both? $500-$700/server managed with enterprise hardware (no cheap drives) etc is a good price point each, maybe $1,000 - $1,300 for two. However you may have a problem getting managed services from a provider if you're supplying the Windows license.

I'd go with the seagate near line SAS drives they are pretty amazing and have great reliability. We use them exclusively for our higher end clients.

I'll have to agree with that, 700-800 USD for those setups and full-management for Windows also, not going to happen
The management alone could already vary between 300-500 USD in total depending which host you'll sign up with.

I'm sure you can find an unmanaged server with a budget provider around that budget, but I would like to know what you'll get in return then. And also if it's worth it.

I need only first 2 moths fully management after this i don't require much more. Because now i am hosting with one fully managed dedicated server from last 8+ months in this time i used support only 3 times in this 3 times 2 times in first month & 1 time in 4th month. After this i never used any support.
