    Exploring some VPS Options

I'm looking for a VPS with some decent storage and bandwidth.

I'm looking for a managed or semi managed VPS with Cpanel and offers an auto installer such as softaculous or fantastico.

    So I'm looking for around:
    20 GB Storage
    200 GB Bandwidth
    384 MB RAM (At least)
    CPanel w/ auto installer
    For around $30-40/mo

    Hi,

Do you have any location preference? You can definitely find something within that budget. Are you looking for Xen or OpenVZ?

cPanel requires 512mb of ram, it can be done in 384, but it's not pretty when traffic starts to flow.

Check the offers section, there are many to choose from that will meet your needs, email a few and see.

I prefer OpenVZ, but Xen is fine as well.

I'm going to also upgrade RAM on an as-needed basis. I'm going to start out small then work my way up.

If your location preference in India, then you can find pretty good number of providers who do hosting with VPS. There are 3 types hosting with CPanel like Advanced, Enterprise and Basic. These three packages come with different bandwidth and storages. Will the enterprise VPS with CPanel suit you?

    True dat.

This potential client has a decent budget. So he does not need blind LEB referrals. That is for the penny VPS people. $7.50 and under.

No need. As you can get what you're after for the same price BUT with 512MB of RAM.

I would recommend NOT going with LowEndBox.com as you probably won't find a provider that is advertising any specials on that site with your needs.

I would advise you to search over at the VPS Hosting Offer forums.
