    limestone - another un-usual case

    I keep coming back to this forum every few months with a positive review of LimeStone guys.

    So I inquired about adding 2 RE3 drives to my server several weeks ago, and at that time, decided to delay the upgrade.

    Since then they had increased the price for upgrades. I contacted them and asked if they can honor the price that they gave me earlier, and they sure did.

    They just added 2 RE4 drives to my server at an insanely low price I just looked at the other place where I have some managed servers, and they won't even give a normal SATA disk for this price. TWO RE4 for this price - I can't even think about it.

    Mike - a few days ago, I posted a positive review because your director of support himself spent a couple of hours on phone, fixing an issue, which was probably outside the support services I have purchased. Today, I came back to post a positive review, as you guys could have easily declined the old offer saying RE3s are not in stock or sorry, that was an old price, but you honored the old price and upgraded to RE4.

    Both of these cases show "going extra mile" to keep a "small customer" happy. I don't pay a lot of money to you guys

    It's great to hear such positive words regarding Limestone, and I'm glad to hear that the OP continues to receive good service from them.

    I've only ever dealt with their sales team before, but from past experience they have always been extremely courteous, kind people, and have always put my interests first. I'm glad to hear that they care the same way about existing customers.

    Oh, and well done to all at LSN for their site redesign - I'm liking it!

    I like it too, but this is going to probably cost them in terms of SEO traffic. Since they did the re-design, http://lstn.net , http://www.lstn.net , and http://www.limestonenetworks.com - all of the domain work as independent domains and serve the same home page and all URLs are relative. So, all pages will have at-least three different domains, aka duplicate content. - before the redesign - lstn used to redirect to the limestonenetworks domain.

    Limestone is our preferred choice of provider currently apart from our colocation DC. Whenever we need quick server(s), we rely on limestone and their support is top notch.

    Maybe it just hasn't been added yet, but they plan to (which is what i think anyway)

    How much are they charging for the drives? Just want to know what people are calling an "insanely low price" on drives these days. :-)
