The idea is to run my web site and email server from a home server. I registered a domain name in namezero(ex. "mydomain.com"). I then changed the DNS to zoneedit because they give me the option to configure MX records, which namezero charges. I then created an account in no-ip cause I have a dynamic ip with my isp (ex. "anydomain.no-ip.org") and have made almost everything work. I can access my site through mydomain.com and anydomain.no-ip.com and also recieve emails if sent to [email protected]. I can access email login on my server via anydomain.no-ip.org:9998 but I cant access it through the main domain mydomain.com:9998. Further tests I made was with, anydomain.no-ip.org:80 and mydomain.com:80 both worked and showed my site.Should I use another port, or could no-ip be blocking this 9998 port.
