    Setting up a VPN

    Hey guys,

Was hoping someone can help us with setting up a Windows VPN (PPTP).

I activate remote access and it says disabled Windows Firewall and ICS. After which the server cannot connect ...

This is a softlayer server so I have access via the private network but nothing on public IP

    Anyone help is much appreciated.

My goal is that I'm out of the country for 3 months and need a VPN to bounce my connection off of to use stuff like itunes, etc

I think the issue is once I disable ICS / Firewall - the server cannot access the internet. Anyone got a guide on how to setup remote access / vpn on server?

You can't run PPTP on Linux right? (since it's an MS protocol)
