    Yes, this is genuinely true.

If you order the promotional server we add a second server at a rental of £0 with exactually the same specificiation, and therefore you got 300TB (150TB each) between the servers.

We have upto 14 disks on the D4-690XL, 2 of which are internal and 12 hotswap.

If you need more disks then this can be custom quoted through sales@redstation.com, the most disks we supply is 72 due to performance, with 2 H800 raid controllers and 36 disks each.

What is your network capacity? If I order 10 servers now, and those 10 burst at the same time, it would be 10Gbps. Are you able to handle that?

This offer is for the server and options listed at the promotional page and during configuration, it does not apply to the other servers. This offer will remain until all promotional stock is sold.

Yes we sell 10 Gbps ports on some compatible models, this is no different from taking a 10 Gbps port and bursting to full capacity.

Setup is normally (>80%) same day if you order before midday (UK Time).

Any delays would be waiting for ID confirmation if required, or waiting on completion of IP allocation forms if ordering a /28 or above.

Buy One Get One Free is for specifically servers ordered through:

    • New Sandy Bridge Xeon CPU from Dell (Dell Launched 15-April-2011)
    • 16 GB DDR3 RAM - Low Voltage
    • 2 x 1000GB SAS 6Gbps Hard Disks

    • 1Gbps Port with 150TB Monthly Traffic
    • Dell DRAC Enterprise (KVM/Reboot/Remote Media)
    • Private /29 subnet - 4 Usable IPs (plus DRAC)

Customisations avaliable are listed on the order page, but the CPU, Disk and Memory are fixed.

These are by far the most outrageous deals we have seen on WHT in a while, so it does beg the question, what is the catch?

Can you provide details of your current network peering/transit capacity? I see you are not based in a London DC so turning up new capacity is not exactly going to be a phone call away...

This deal is super outrageous. I wonder if the network is redundant. Anyway I will give it a try soon

I just read on redstation.com site, which states their network capacity is 70Gbps. That is equal to 70 servers (1Gbps port each) burst at the same time. With this deal, the network will be maxed out soon.

your reply is affecting their reputation negatively!
and ur havent even tested their network yet, so u cant say for sure how good they are
i am a customer of redstation and so far i am VERY satisfied by the service they are providing especialy their network performance
now i havent tested the 10Gbps servers
    i only tested the 1Gbps
plz dont judge others without suffecient evidence!

This is just basic math and very clear that if 70 servers burst at the same time, they will max out 70Gbps. I am having over 100 servers and I know how the 100TB or 150TB works. When you only have 1 server or 2, you won't recognize the problem. But when the host is getting popular and they have many clients, that can be the problem with the network. I am thinking to get 10 servers with them, so doing a little math is justified.

Restricted Uses of Redstation Limited Systems and Services:

    * Operating a 'Content Delivery Network'
    * Providing 'Streaming Media Services'

Restricted bandwidth provided with the Service is provided for normal, fair, and reasonable use and must not exceed 20TB per month. Bandwidth usage is to be reasonably consistent throughout every month, without irregular bandwidth usage patterns, either individually or as part of a group of Customer servers. The Customer undertakes throughout the term not to share, resell, loan or loan to assign the bandwidth in any way without the explicit written consent of Redstation Limited.

Are these 150TB servers or 20TB servers? Or it mean you can use CDN/Streaming Media Services but those are limited to 20TB while other uses are 150TB?

Yes, you may use it for CDN/Streaming but this type of usage is limited to 20TB.
