For a personal project, I am looking for a small webhosting package in Asia. These are my requirements:

• 300 MB space, 1 GB traffic/month or more, no traffic overages*
• 5 domains, 5 MySQL databases, PHP safe mode off
• no DirectAdmin as control panel
• server location in order of preference: Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia
• referably month to month contract, maximum 3 months
• no more than USD 5-7 per month
• payment via Google Checkout, 2Checkout or Moneybookers, no Paypal or credit card
• I want to know who I am dealing with, so the host should not have WHOIS privacy enabled on his domain and I want to see his contact details (office address) posted on his website

* I do not expect to have more than 1 GB traffic. If I exceed whatever amount of traffic is included in the webhosting plan, I want my websites turned off for the rest of the month instead of having to pay traffic overages.

I already spent a considerable amount of time trying to find a host that meets my requirements but the hosts I found either require a 12 month contract, payment via Paypal or credit card, charge traffic overages or are anonymous (WHOIS privacy etc.).

Which host can you recommend that fulfils the above requirements?

In Asia .... think of trying Hong Kong hosts, they are stable enough to use them with no fair of losing your business.

India also in Asia. You have to try there.

There are so many good datacenter in India now.

Already did that and will do in the future, haven't been successful though.

English, so I had to use a translation tool to read the website you mentioned. Judging from that it seems they only have yearly plans.

@techtalk: Do they even have servers in Asia? Their website only mentions Canada. Apart from that, they only seem to provide yearly plans.

Your requirements looks simple and your budget is good for the requirements. There are lot of host that support these if you simply google for Singapore hosting etc

I dont think you can find hosting in Japan for that price so might just want to settle for the other locations.

The webwbe.com people are fully understanding English and their hosting plans are pretty cheap if you compare with other HongKong or asia based hosting companies. They're actually switched from a US based hosting earlier.

Just do a search on google and you will find your needs. Malaysia / Singapore / Taiwan / HongKong / China / India =)

When you so much narrow your search, you end up being limited with choice.
